1994 – When The Mayoffs Throw a Party

Sung to the the tune of “Oh, Suzanna”
Lyrics by Doug Frazier

When the Mayoffs, throw a party,
every year, on Mayoff Day,
They invite their friends and neighbors,
to enjoy food, fun and play.

First they send an invitation,
mailed around the U.S.A.
Quoting Housman and anouncin’
the upcomin’ Mayoff Day.

Then Denise bakes chocolate cookies,
on the table she does lay,
Carrot wedgies, other veggies,
all the foods for Mayoff Day.

Bernie warms the spa and pool then,
cleans the deck up with a spray.
Blows the whale up (fills the tail up)
– need the floats for Mayoff Day!

Guest show up about eight-thirty,
“Bernie and Denise,” they say,
“We’re delighted you invited,
us tonight for Mayoff Day.”

Going to Denise and Bernie’s,
Celebrating Mayoff Day.
With our friends enjoyment blends,
it never ends on Mayoff Day.

When the Mayoffs, throw a party,
every year, on Mayoff Day,
They invite their friends and neighbors,
to share in their Mayoff Day.
