The Bernie Mayoff Report
Cheryl spent this summer working as a program counselor at Philmont Scout Ranch in mountains of northeastern New Mexico, near the town of Cimarron. Philmont is a 300+ square mile cattle ranch that belongs to the Boy Scouts of America. It is a high adventure area that allows groups of scouts to go on a 10 day trek through a gorgeous part of the United States. There are a number of back country camps that the scouts can stop at to rest, camp and learn new skills. Cheryl worked and lived at Beaubien, a horse and cattle camp at the top of a mountain. She taught scouts to rope and to brand. Cheryl is also an accomplished chef so she was very popular with the rest of the staff too.

In Jauary we spent some of them on a trip to Hawaii.
One of the beautiful sites in Hawaii, this one at the edge of the Nuuanu Pali Lookout on Oahu.
Some people have been accused of eating to much on vacation. What do you think?
