  The Mayoff Family Tree

At the request of family members, we have finally worked out the challenges of posting our family tree on Mayoff.com. It has always been my policy to make my research available for free to family members. Additionally it has also been my policy to prohibit access to our family tree to strangers. We have created a password protected portal to the Family Tree. Family members will need click this link to request authorization. Authorzation is done manually after verification that the applicant is a family member and will usually be issued in less than 24 hours. Family members who already have a user name and password may access the portal via the same link.

If you are not a family member, don't bother to contact me. I will not respond.

Our latest bit of news has to deal with Usher's son Hyman's line. Hyman and his wife Sophie had one child - Arthur. Nothing has been found on this person until recently when I was contacted by Mary Ann Montani, who believes she is Arthur's daughter. Mary Ann's surname as a child was Mayoff, but changed when her mother married and she was subsequently adopted by her stepfather taking the surname of Schween.

June 2001 update... With the help of Sandra Alotta (Ush) who was Arthur's first cousin, we have been provided with photos of Sophie and Hyman and others, plus a cemetery document. View them here.
