Chicago Mayoffs in the early 1940s

This picture was found in 2015 by Gail Wiseman (Abr) as she and her brother Earle went through a box of pictures that their mother, Doris Mayoff Wiseman, had saved from her mother Freda Mayoff.

The timeframe is estimated to be after July 1940 (Meyer and Ada were married June 8, 1940) and before October 1943 (prior to Benita or Ada being pregnant).

The couple on the left are Meyer and Ada Mayoff. The couple on the right are Sam and Benita Mayoff. Seated in the foreground is Doris' father Abraham Mayoff. Behind Abraham are Manny Bernstein and his parents Molly Mayoff Bernstein and Issie Bernstein. Molly, Sam and Meyer are the three of Abraham's children that lived in Chicago.
