You pull out the music when Mayoff Day’s near
And waxing nostalgic, you may shed a tear,
Then sit at the piano, and sip at your beer.
Because it’s only a tune but brings back the good times –

A walk in the garden, a trip on a train,
A beautiful moonrise, a glass of champagne!
Perhaps the old friends you miss, from those days long ago.
who’ve shared many mem’ries and joys don’t you know.
