Austin’s 2018 Mayoff Day celebration was built around Bernie and Denise’s recent adventures in Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands. In addition to Ecuadoran style foods like empanadas and maracuja, to add authenticity, this was the hottest Mayoff Day celebration in in history!!!
As a special treat, the air conditioning stopped working and the shrimp were not cooked properly. Just as life in the Galapagos adapts to unique conditions, so too did Mayoff Day celebrants.
