Gerry Isaacs on Monday, July 26, 2010 in Coral Springs, Florida at the age of 63. Beloved husband of Elaine (Mayoff) Isaacs (Abr). Survived by his wife Elaine and sons and daughters-in-law Aaron & Ronite Isaacs and Brad & Jordana Isaacs. Also survived by sister Darlene Isaacs and sister and brother-in-law Sandra and Jay Miller. Cherished son-in-law of the late Meyer and Ada Mayoff and brother-in-law of Bernie and Denise Mayoff. Gerry was a pharmacist and a daily “minyonire” at his shul and a frequent Torah reader.

Zelda Mayoff (nee Schwartz) (Abr) On Sunday, July 11, 2010. Beloved wife of Sol for sixty-seven years. Most loving mother and mother-in-law of Donna (Roman), Robert and the late Wendy, Doug and Cynthia, Richard, and Bonnie. Cherished Grandma of Ricky and Evelyn; David; Chelsea, Dylan, and Harley; Ashley; Cory, Daryl, and Oliver; and the late Lori. Proud great-grandmother of Emily, Olivia, Andrew, Montana, Stone and Jade. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Sidney Schwartz (Marilyn), the late Phyllis and the late Lionel Goldsmith, Doris and Hy Zilbert, the late Fritz and the late Mack Perel. Zelda was a special aunt to her many nieces and nephews, and a true friend to many. She will be so very sadly missed. Many thanks to her dedicated caregivers, Kerry, Gigi, Zinny, Julius and Nina. Heartfelt thanks to Dr. Rubin Becker and nurse Elana Cohen. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday, July 13 at 12:00 noon. Burial at the Chevra Kadisha B’nai Jacob Congregation Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O. Shiva private from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. daily. Freda [Fritzie] Perel (nee Mayoff) (Abr). Ending her ninety-fourth year, passed away on Sunday, December 20, 2009. Beloved wife of, and shown with, the late Mack Perel. She will be sadly missed by her daughters and son-in-law Doreen Kipnis [Neil] and Cheryl Nash. Proud grandmother of Terri [Andrew], Jill, Shari [Oral] and Monica [Greg]. Cherished bubbie of Shawn, Adam, Sophie, Chiara and Sage. Dearest sister of Sol [Zelda] and Doris, sister-in-law of Sarah and Rae [Jack]. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Heartfelt thanks to 5th floor staff of the Jewish Eldercare Centre for their compassionate care. Donations may be made in her memory to Sun Youth. A private service was held.

Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Nancy Mayoff and Howard Kates, Joanne Mayoff and James Ondrick. Cherished Bubbie of Jonathan Leblanc; Amanda Ondrick. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Bessie and the late Joe Greenblatt, Myrna and Bram Aikman, the late Anne and the late Mark Gould, the late Louis and the late Kay Israelovitch, and sister-in-law of Sol and Essie Mayoff, the late Anne and the late Abe Morantz. Sadly mourned by her many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W. on Thursday, August 7 at 12 noon. Burial at the Reconstructionist Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield. Shiva at 6635 Mackle Rd., C.S.L. through Monday evening. Barbara Sue Simon
Barbara Sue Simon, (75), died on October 22, 2007 after a courageous battle with lung cancer. Beloved wife of Herbert, and loving mother and best friend to daughters Amy York, Lisa Koransky, and the late Paula York. Also survived by sister and brother-in-law,Marilyn and Ed Fine, stepdaughters, Mistie and Francesca, son-in-law, Henry Koransky, and the numerous friends and relatives who loved her dearly. Barbara enriched our lives through her unconditional love, acceptance, support, strength, and beauty. She will forever live on in our hearts and minds. We love and miss her dearly.
