Martin Bottler

Martin Bottler.  After a lengthy illness in London, Ontario on Friday, July 26, 2002, Martin Samuel Bottler of London, Ontario, Canada, in his fifty-second year. Dear son of Sarah Stone of London and the late Saul Bottler, dear brother of Maxine and her husband Len Silverstein of London and Rhea Bottler-Fineberg of Montreal. Martin will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews, and a great-nephew. Predeceased by his sister Marilyn Yearow. A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 29, 2002 at 2 p.m. at Or Shalom Cemetery. Shiva will be held on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings at 27-14 Doon Drive, London. Logan Chapel Furtney Funeral Homes, 371 Dundas Street, London in charge of arrangements. A tree will be planted as a living memorial to Martin Bottler.

180 degree panoramic view from Art's porch

This 180 degree panoramic view was taken from the second story deck at Art and Sue Mayoff’s Bay Area home on May 2nd, 2001. It consists of seven images assembled together in Adobe’s Photoshop v5.5 on a Mac. The stitch lines where images join are really your imagination and don’t actually exist. The view is looking towards the east at the left of the photo, south in the center and looking towards the west at the right. The bridge spans the Carquinez straits; ergo it’s name, The Carquinez Bridge. In reality the bridge is actually two identical bridges separated approximately 75 feet from each other. An additional bridge, the Benicia Bridge, is obscured by the homes at the left of the photo.

Additional Info
On Thursday evenings during the summer months, the Benica Yacht Club’s sailboat regatta sails the straits. Annually the straits also host professional powerboat races from bridge to bridge, a distance of seven miles.

Predeceased in 1965 by his first wife Doris . Brother of Stanley and the late Moe, Ann, Ben, Saul, Israel, Siggy and Berke. Grandfather of Garreth Rogers, Debbie and Amanda Mayoff, Keith Mayoff, Morgan, Erica and Seth Wittenberg.

Esther Mayoff. (Ush/Sch) On Saturday, February 5, 2000 at age 102. Beloved wife of the late Hyman. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Sol and Essie, Moe and Sarah, and Abe and the late Anne Morantz. Cherished grandmother of Allan and Joey Mayoff of California, Rhona and Richard Pervin, Ian and Randy Morantz, Nancy Mayoff, and Joanna and James Ondrick. Great-grandmother of seven. Predeceased by her brother and three sisters. She will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews and relatives. Esther’s life spanned the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries. The family would like to thank the staff of the St. Mary’s Hospital for their kind care and compassion.
